Why everyone hate negative display gshock?i dont get it Yes they dont as eligible as positive display,but not by much U can just slightly tilt your arm (or head) and they will good I use to own 2 DW5600 with positive and negative display (not modified) and i sold the positive display one,its too boring

You didn’t mention the water resistance. Is it 200 meters? I like the GDB500. I already have a Casio Royale but I don’t wear it too often because I prefer slightly smaller/thinner watches.

The Casioak negative display, despite looking way cool, is basically illegible in daylight without pressing the light...and this looks even worse.

If only that GD-B500 had an MIP display and Tough Solar, it would have been an awesome G-Shock. But what I really wish is for Casio to release a GBX-100 or GBD-200 that has Tough Solar, and all those rubbish smart watch wanna be features removed. That would be an awesome new generation G-Shock square.

I just want a 5610U with an MIP display. Done. These are cool though but not for me. Your channel though is right up my alley. 😊

I always liked the Timex Expedition series field watches because they are durable, stylish and affordable. You can't go wrong with an Expedition in most scenarios.

Surprised you went for the older databank watch.. they brought out the electro luminous version shortly after the original and the back light was great on that one.. the straps broke on mine though 😢

the greay version of the 2300 with the orange hands is a stunner - can't find one though, I guess they sold out very fast

I just got a Chinese version the 'Mission To Jupiter' it cost me £12.50 delivered. it's plastic same as the original it's got a cheap plastic strap, same as the original and very limited WR, same as the original! Where it's arguably better than the original is that the cheap chronograph movement when it fails can be replaced for just a few pounds. Movement failure on the original means it becomes landfill or worse, fish food. Like the original, though I think I was ripped off as it's, despite the accuracy of the 'homage', heh, heh just cheap plastic junk! 🤣🤣🤣

You're ready for the gd-350. All of the functionality of the 5610u (including world time)You lose solar and multiband, but gain a vibrating alarm. Pretty much the same interface, but with buttons that are pure joy to operate. I got the 5610u about a month ago. I like it, but the gd-350 has been my favorite gshock for the past decade. The 5610 is easy to wear everyday. The gd-350 is easy to use everyday.

Salute to G-shock for creating these 2 new models. I love it!

I always look forward to your g-shock/Casio reviews but I just didn’t care for either of these. They don’t remind me of Back To The Future so much as back to the drawing board. I think I’ll hug one of my g-shocks before I go to bed tonight.

My favourite is actually the gold q reissue. I don’t have a full gold watch. Just wish it had an expanding bracelet as I remember my father having a gold watch with one.

I like the GDB-500, that thing is cool! About time they made the G-Shocks smaller. MUCH smaller.

I really could do with both, but Casio must've been out of their minds with their obsession with negative displays.

I must say my favourite is the Timex Q I have already seen a couple but the gold one has an amazing retro vibe. By the way the watch I have owned longer is my anadigi Timex Ironman I have been using it for 26 years! Amazing I can't believe it!

I have a GAB900 which looks similar to the GA2300, almost a slimmed down 2100 but, much more legible.

I'd love a rubberised resin square aka DW5600 without all the pulse and smart sensor stuff.. Just bluetooth, *tough* solar and the new MIP display

I'm sorry, but those looks like Aliexpress GShock knockoffs. Right now I have the same feeling I've got when I saw the Casio Duro 38mm.

Once I hopped on the g-shock website and saw the GDBs come in different colors, I think I like it even more. A black one just seems to emphasize how much it is like a square, but definitely not a square. If this came with tough solar, then this is near an insta-buy in my book.

I think the trend in watches is smaller case sizes. The time of the wrist hockey puck is over.

My biggest quibble with Casio is legibility. They just don't seem to care about it. Thus these two are a big no for me.

My favorite watch on the Jomoshop site is the Timex Snoopy Christmas watch. Out of my whole collection, I do not have a Christmas watch that can go with my ugly Christmas sweater! 🤔
